The many retired officials of NDRC have made important contributions to China’s revolution, construction, reform and opening up, especially the macroeconomic regulation. They are the important resource and force for promoting development and reform. The CPC Leadership Group of NDRC has always attached great importance to retired officials. The NDRC has also formed a good tradition to respect and care for the elders, and learn from them, thus better leveraging the role of retired officials. Given new circumstances, under the leadership of the NDRC Party Committee, we will adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and follow the important expositions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on caring for veteran officials, and thoroughly study and implement the spirit of 19th CPC National Congress and the 2nd through 5th Plenary Sessions of the 19th Central Committee, further strengthen our commitment to “the Four Consciousnesses”, “the Four-sphere Confidence”, and “the Two Upholds”. We will adapt to the new requirements for the work with retired officials, maintain positive values and outlook, focus on the central task and serve the overall situation, care for retired officials while giving full play to their good roles, encourage them to contribute their wisdom to the development and reform causes, and to achieve the "Two Centenary Goals" and realize the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

The Bureau of Retired Officials are mainly responsible for serving and managing retired officials of the NDRC, earnestly implementing the party’s principles and policies to ensure courtesy treatment for retired officials, leveraging their positive role, coordinating the transformation and development of the work with retired officials in the NDRC.

Our website is an important channel to communicate, increase contact and exchanges between inside and outside.
