NDRC and World Economic Forum Jointly Organize
the Policy Dialogue in Chengdu
In order to deepen cooperation with the World Economic Forum (WEF), further publicize China's opening-up policy, and promote the stability of foreign capital and foreign trade, on November 16th, the Department of International Cooperation and WEF co-organized multinational enterprises to hold the policy dialogue in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. Mr. Ning Jizhe, Vice Chairman of NDRC and Prof. Klaus Schwab, Executive Chairman of WEF attended the meeting online and delivered opening remarks. Su Wei, Deputy Secretary-General of NDRC, led a delegation to Chengdu and attended the meeting with the Departments of International Cooperation, National Economy, Foreign Capital and Overseas Investment.
Mr. Ning Jizhe pointed out that China's efforts to stabilize foreign investment have achieved fruitful results thanks to the China’s further opening-up, continuous improvement of the business environment and the resilience of economic development. The fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee proposed to speed up the construction of the new development paradigm with domestic circulation being the mainstay and the two circulations reinforcing each other. China will unswervingly expand its opening up in an all-round way, making the Chinese market a world market, a shared market, and a market for everyone, injecting more positive energy into the international community.
