On the morning of September 7, Vice Chairman Zhou Haibing met with Sakari Puisto, Minister of Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment of Finland. The two sides exchanged views on issues of common interest, including China-Finland circular economy cooperation and expanding bilateral investment.
Zhou Haibing stated that China attaches great importance to the development of the circular economy, and that the two sides enjoy a solid foundation for cooperation and a smooth operating mechanism. China is willing to strengthen policy and technological exchanges with Finland and explore potential cooperation. Finnish companies are welcomed to invest and operate in China, leverage their respective strengths, and promote the implementation of more cooperative projects.
Puisto noted that Finland values cooperation with China highly in the field of the circular economy, with close exchanges between the two sides and bright prospects for bilateral cooperation. Finland is willing to actively support further exchanges and communication between institutions, enterprises, and experts of the two countries, and to deepen cooperation in the circular economy and investment.
