On August 19, Zhou Haibing, Vice Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) of China, met with Francisco Pérez Mackenna, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Chile, in Beijing. The two sides exchanged views on advancing bilateral relations and expanding practical cooperation between the two countries.
Zhou Haibing noted that China and Chile enjoy broad prospects for cooperation in green development, high technology and other fields. China stands ready to work with Chile to deepen practical cooperation, so as to promote the development of both countries and elevate bilateral cooperation in key areas to new heights.
Francisco Pérez Mackenna stated that China is an important partner of Chile. The Chilean side is willing to strengthen dialogue and cooperation with China to achieve mutual benefit, win-win results and common development.
