On July 18, Zheng Shanjie, Chairman of the NDRC, and Ahmed ATTAF, Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, signed the Agreement on Railway Transport Cooperation between the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Transport of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria in Beijing. The two sides will set up a mixed committee on railway transport and carry out cooperation in the railway area based on the principles of enterprise initiatives, government guidelines, market rules and the principles of equality and mutual benefit.
