On January 4th, 2023, the Fourth China-Chile Strategic Dialogue on Economic Cooperation and Coordination was held successfully via video. Lin Nianxiu, Vice Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission of China, Antonia Urrejola, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Chile and Jose Miguel Ahumada, Undersecretary of International Economic Relations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs attended the meeting and delivered speeches. The two sides reached a series of consensus on cooperation in mining, infrastructure, energy, high-tech and other fields and promoting high-quality Belt and Road cooperation. Both sides also pointed out the direction for further deepening cooperation.
For the Chinese side, participants from the NDRC, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Energy Administration and China’s Embassy in Chile attended the meeting. For the Chilean side, participants are from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Public Works, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Mining, InvestChile and the Embassy of Chile in China.
