On the evening of November 16 local time, witnessed by Chinese President Xi Jinping and Indonesian President Joko Widodo, the inter-governmental cooperation plan on jointly promoting cooperation within the Framework of the Belt and Road Initiative and the Global Maritime Fulcrum, as well as the inter-departmental Memorandum of Understanding on jointly building the China-Indonesia Base for Conservation Reseach and Innovation of Medical Plants, were signed between The National Development and Reform Commission of China and the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Investment Coordination of Indonesia.
