Seminar held between NDRC and Korean enterprises

On March 23rd, a seminar was held between the NDRC and Korean enterprises. Mr. Gao Jian, Deputy Director General of the Department of International Cooperation of NDRC, and Mr.YUH POK-KEUN, Minister of Embassy of the Republic of Korea attended the activity and delivered opening remarks. Representatives from the International Cooperation Center of the NDRC also participated in the seminar.

Gao said during the seminar that many enterprises from South Korea have been deeply involved in China's reform and opening-up and have benefited from it. In the meanwhile, the enterprises also contributed to China's high-quality economic development. The Chinese side will coordinate socio-economic development and COVID-19 control, strive to achieve the annual economic growth target, open up to the outside world wider and create a better business environment for foreign investors, including Korean enterprises. The two sides should strengthen regular communication and exchanges, jointly expand practical cooperation in different fields, and develop the China-ROK strategic and cooperative partnership in a sustainable way.

During the seminar, representatives from Korea, including CJ, Samsung, SK and the Korea Chamber of Commerce in China and others introduced the development status, future plan and their major difficulties in China. Suggestions were also provided by the Korean side on deepening China-ROK pragmatic cooperation.
