On January 25, the BRI International Green Development Coalition (BRIGC) published the research reports of Green Development Guidance on BRI Projects (GDG) and BRI Green Investment Principles (GIP). The GDG and GIP are highly consistent and mutually complementary in terms of policy guidance, application scope, technical methodology, etc. that can jointly promote green investment and financing in the BRI countries and support the green and low-carbon transition of the developing countries. The GDG creates a hierarchical classification system for BRI projects, and contains a handbook and green industry development guidance for enterprises and financial institutions, which provide the BRI countries and projects with green solutions and support decision-making of authorities in guiding foreign investment cooperation on green development.
