On February 4th, 2022, Mr. He Lifeng, Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission of China and Ambassador Santiago Cafiero, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship of Argentina signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation within the Framework of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road Initiative on behalf of the Chinese and Argentine governments. In accordance with the principles of extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits, the two sides will jointly advance the Belt and Road Initiative, conduct cooperation in policy coordination, infrastructure connectivity, trade connectivity, financial integration, people-to-people exchange and third-party market, explore new opportunities for bilateral cooperation and strive to achieve common development and prosperity.
