China-Europe Railway Express remains high-frequency operation in November

On December 16, Meng Wei, spokesperson for the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), said that in November, China-Europe Railway Express trains made 1,246 trips and shipped 120,000 container equivalent units (TEUs), a year-on-year increase of 1 percent and 4 percent, respectively. The rate of loaded containers reached 99.4 percent. The freight trains remain high-frequency operation, with over 1,000 monthly trips for 19 consecutive months. From January to November, 2021, China-Europe Railway Express has made a total of 13,817 trips and carried 1.332 million TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 23 percent and 30 percent, respectively. The rate of loaded containers was 98.1 percent. As of the end of November, a total of 47,414 trips have been made and 4.297 million TEUs of goods transported. In addition, 13.43 million parcels (103,000 tons) of anti-pandemic supplies have been delivered.
