On July 13th, the first event of China-Europe Partnership Dialogue was successfully held in Beijing, focusing
on green development. the event aimed at promoting the development of green, low-carbon, and recycling economy
and strengthening the practical cooperation between China and Europe in the field.

In his opening remark, Su Wei, Deputy Secretary General of the National Development and Reform Commission,
said that green development is an important part of China's new development philosophy.Chinese and European
companies can work together to strengthen green economy cooperation.

Officials from the National Development and Reform Commission, the National Energy Administration, and Beijing
Municipal Commission of Development and Reform delivered keynote speeches on the Green Beijing Strategy,
implementation of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality work in China, and promoting the development of new and
renewable energy sectors.

Representatives from 10 European and Chinese companies joined panel discussions on "Low carbon transformation
path for enterprises under the guidance of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals" and "Green innovative
technologies and sustainable development".

About 150 representatives from 70 well-known European enterprises and business associations in China as well
as around 30 Chinese enterprises attended the event, covering various fields such as energy and electricity,
energy saving and emission reduction, circular economy and financial consulting.

The event was co-hosted by the Department of International Cooperation of the National Development and Beijing
Municipal Commission of Development and Reform, organized by the International Cooperation Center of the
National Development and Reform Commission. NDRC will continue to organize a series of Sino-European
Partnership Dialogue activities around key areas of cooperation between China and Europe.
