H.E.Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of UAE and H.E.Ning Jizhe, Vice-Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) of China held a Video conference on 1 June 2021，The two sides conducted an in-depth discussion on cooperation on the Belt and Road Initiative, production capacity and investment, China-UAE investment fund and policies for addressing climate change.
Mr. Ning Jizhe reiterated that China regards the UAE as an important strategic cooperative partner in the Middle East. China-UAE bilateral relations enjoy a huge potential and a bright future. China will continue to work with the UAE to further deepen exchanges and cooperation in various fields, with a view to bringing the hearts of our two peoples closer and consolidating the foundation for China-UAE friendship.
Representatives from the Department of Foreign Capital and Overseas Investment of NDRC, the Department of Regional Opening-up and the Department of International Cooperation of NDRC also attended the video conference.
