In order to deepen and lay a solid foundation for people-to-people exchange, as well as to promote solid progress under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, the Tanoto Foundation and the International Cooperation Center of NDRC (hereinafter referred to as two Organizations) co-organized a symposium on the Belt and Road Talent Development Programme and Indonesian Industrial Vocational Education & Training Programme on March 16, 2021. Mr. Li Bin, First Counsel of the Department of International Cooperation of NDRC attended the symposium. After the symposium, project cooperation agreements was signed by the two Organizations.
Mr. Li Bin emphasized that NDRC attached great importance to the China-Indonesia vocational education and training cooperation under the framework of industrial cooperation. The International Cooperation Center of NDRC has been strengthening practical cooperation and supporting Indonesia’s endeavour in 2045 vision and re-industrialization. The Department of International Cooperation of NDRC will collaborate with the two Organizations to implement the consensus reached by the leaders of our two countries, further strengthen the strategic partnership between China and Indonesia and make concrete contribution to the further development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
Representatives from the the International Cooperation Center of NDRC, the Department of International Cooperation of NDRC, the Department of Regional Opening-up of NDRC and the Tanoto Foundation also attended the signing ceremony.
