On November 10, 2022, the 2022 Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) Africa-China Poverty Reduction and Development Conference was held. About 100 representatives from China and African countries attended the conference. During the conference, the Africa-China Alliance for Poverty Alleviation was inaugurated. Participants agreed that poverty eradication and sustainable development are the common aspirations of the Chinese and African people and important areas for pragmatic cooperation between China and Africa. The Africa-China Alliance for Poverty Alleviation will serve as an important platform for promoting cooperation between China and Africa in poverty alleviation and development, injecting new impetus into the building of a community with a shared future for China and Africa in the new era.
