Strengthen International Communication to Showcase China's Image ——the Department of International Cooperation endeavors to build an all-round communication network

In 2021, under the leadership of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the Department of International Cooperation has made a series of explorations and innovations in promoting international communication. It has taken the initiative to build an all-round communication network with foreign governments, enterprises, NGOs, etc. by telling the history of China's development, reform and opening-up, and planning. It organized the "Ambassadors Face to Face with the National Development and Reform Commission" event, during which Mr. Ning Jizhe, Vice Chairman of NDRC, introduced the 14th Five-Year Plan to more than 140 ambassadors and representatives of international organizations in China. Also, it held a series of high-level roundtable meetings with U.S. multinational enterprises in China, and the Sino-European Partnership Dialogue on Green Development, supported the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China to hold economic and technical exchanges, and co-organized with the World Economic Forum (WEF) a dialogue between government and enterprises and the "Walking Davos "activities.
In 2022, the Department of International Cooperation is committed to be more proactive, constructive and creative in fulfilling its mandate, and work on strengthening communication, promoting cooperation and publicizing the development concepts of China.
