In the morning of December 15, the world's first zero-carbon terminal smart and green energy system was successfully connected to grid in Tianjin Port. As China's first "wind-solar-storage integrated" smart and green energy system of port, it marks a new step of Tianjin Port in building a green port, and leading the green and low-carbon industrial development by a brand-new model. Under the smart and green energy system, the intelligent container terminal at Section C, Beijiang Harbor District, Tianjin Port becomes the world's first zero-carbon terminal with its operation 100 percent powered by electricity, and such electricity is 100 percent generated by green energy like wind and solar energy plus 100 percent self-sustained green electricity.
