On September 11, Lancang-Mekong Power Interconnection & Cooperation Forum was held succesfully in Nannning, Guangxi during the 18th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO). The Forum was held by China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd (CSG) under the guidance of National Development and Reform Commission(NDRC) of China. Representatives from NDRC, CSG, major power utilities in the Lancang-Mekong Region, RTE (French transmission operator), Mekong Institute and ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) participated in the Forum and delivered speeches. Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China also sent representative to the forum. Participants shared insights on deepening power cooperation, accelerating grid interconnection, advancing cross-border power trade and intensifying technological and people-to-people exchanges in the Lancang-Mekong region.
