Chairman Zheng Shanjie met with Siemens CEO Roland Busch

On March 26th, Zheng Shanjie, Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), met with Roland Busch, President and Chief Executive Officer of Siemens AG, who also serves as Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Committee of German Business (APA).

Zheng Shanjie said that China has embarked on a new journey to comprehensively build a modern socialist country in all respects, accelerating the construction of a new development paradigm and focusing on promoting high-quality development. This will provide broad cooperation opportunities and valuable development prospects for domestic and foreign investors. We are willing to maintain close communication with German/European business community including Siemens, strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation between both sides, and create more highlights for cooperation. We’re vigorously promoting the construction of Digital China, and expect Siemens to strengthen its cooperation with Chinese enterprises,as well as play an active role in promoting overall bilateral cooperation.

Busch expressed that Siemens attaches great importance to its cooperation with China. It will further work together with Chinese partners to build an ecosystem for industrial digitalization, while continuing to make contributions towards promoting Sino-German cooperation and exchanges.
