The 29th JC Meeting (video conference) was co-chaired by H.E. Mr. Ning Jizhe, Vice Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission of China and H.E. Mr. Saksayam Chidchob, Minister of Transport of Thailand on 25th June 2021.
Both sides discussed the construction of the first phase of the China-Thailand Railway Cooperation Project (Bangkok-Nakhon Ratchasima section), the cooperation of the second phase of the China-Thailand Railway Cooperation Project (Nakhon Ratchasima-Nong Khai section) and the railway connecting Nong Khai and Vientiane. Both sides have reached much consensus and made important progress.
National Development and Reform Commission of China, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, the Ministry of Finance of China, the Ministry of Commerce of China, National Railway Administration of China, China Railway, the Export-Import Bank of China, the Ministry of Transport of Thailand, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, the Ministry of Finance of Thailand, the State Railway of Thailand and relevant departments and enterprises of Thailand participated in the meeting.
