Since the beginning of 2023, China's foreign trade has risen to the challenges and overcome the impact of weakened external demand and high base figures from last year, achieving a smooth start overall. Exports have achieved positive growth, continuing to play a supportive role in the national economy.

Among them, exports were 3.5 trillion yuan, an increase of 0.9 percent, reaching a historical high for the same period.
