In 2022, Ningbo Zhoushan Port completed an annual cargo throughput of more than 1.25 billion tons, ranking first in the world for 14 straight years, and completed a container throughput of 33.35 million TEU (twenty-foot equivalent units), ranking third in the world. At present, the total number of routes of Ningbo Zhoushan Port has reached 300, including 120 with the Belt and Road countries.
