Department of International Cooperation of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) Held Expert Symposium on Global Economic Governance

On the morning of February 18, Gao Jian, Deputy Director General of the Department of International Cooperation, hosted a symposium with experts in relevant fields who provided suggestions on improving global economic governance.
 
The symposium invited eight experts who come from China Center for International Economic Exchanges, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies, Renmin University of China, Zhejiang University and other research institutions and think tanks. They exchanged views about the reform of international organizations, governance of multilateral mechanisms and other relevant issues, offering suggestions about how to enhance China’s capacity to participate in international governance.
 
Next, the Department of International Cooperation will study thoroughly and absorb experts' opinions, give full play to the function of international economic research, and promote better international cooperation centering on the main work of the NDRC.
