Recently, the Chinese-built Tanajib road upgrade project in Saudi Arabia was officially completed and handed over. The project was signed on February 18, 2020 and primarily involved the upgrade and renovation of 42 kilometers of existing roads and related facilities. Located in a key oil field area in Saudi Arabia, the project serves as a crucial transportation hub connecting the Tanajib oil field, natural gas fields, and offshore oil fields. The official commissioning of the project will effectively contribute to the economic and social development of Saudi Arabia and make a positive contribution to the high-quality advancement of the China-Saudi Arabia cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative.
