Recently, the Chinese-built 950MW solar thermal photovoltaic power plant project in Dubai, UAE, has made significant progress in construction and equipment commissioning. The project is the world's largest integrated photovoltaic power plant project. Up to now, the photovoltaic part of the project has been put into commercial operation and started to deliver electricity to all parts of Dubai, and other units will be connected to the grid for power generation and put into use for commercial services successively. Upon completion, the project will make an important contribution to the green development of the UAE.
