On February 27, 2023, training for the first batch of operation and maintenance personnel for the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway officially began in Madiun, East Java Province, Indonesia. A total of 173 Indonesian trainees will be trained in the first batch, focusing on four professional positions: high-speed train drivers, operation control center dispatchers, emergency duty personnel, and high-speed train mechanics. At present, the preparatory work for the subsequent three training courses for Indonesian trainees has also been started, and a total of more than 600 Indonesian operation and maintenance personnel will be selected and trained to provide professional talents for the construction and operation of Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway.
