Recently, a ceremony was held to celebrate the completion and launch of the integrated petrochemicals complex and infrastructure (IPCI) project in Kazakhstan, which was undertaken by a Chinese enterprise. It is the largest chemical engineering and the first polyolefin project in Kazakhstan, making a highlight of the cooperation between the two countries. After five years of construction, the IPCI project will substantially support the transformation and upgrading of the petrochemical industry in the country and better boost local economic and social development.
