Recently, the opening ceremony of Jazan Economic City Port in Saudi Arabia was held, marking the official start of the port's commercial operations. The port is located beside the Red Sea, 80 kilometers away from the urban area of Jazan, capital of Jizan Region, Saudi Arabia. As part of Jazan Economic City, the port comprises four commercial berths and will facilitate the development of the industrial sector in Jazan Economic City. It will also effectively contribute to the economic and social development of southwest Saudi Arabia, and make a positive contribution to the realization of Vision 2030.
