First China Railway Express departs from western Jiangxi

With a long whistle, the 75040/39 China railway express carrying 50 40-foot containers slowly departed from Western Jiangxi International Port, Pingxiang City, Jiangxi Province on September 5. The train was mainly loaded with baby supplies, shoes and hats, and mechanical equipment. The total length of the trip is about 12,000 kilometers. The train will exit via Manzhouli Port, China and directly reach Moscow, Russia. The trip is expected to take about 15-18 days. This is the first China railway express that departed from western Jiangxi.

The operation of China railway express further reduces the comprehensive logistics cost of foreign trade enterprises in western Jiangxi, saving about 45 percent compared with highway transport. Moreover, it further shortens the freight transport time and improves the transport efficiency. Compared with sea transport, China railway express help save the transport time by about 25 days, laying a solid foundation for enterprises in western Jiangxi to expand overseas markets.
