Xinjiang's first international multimodal transport train of ILSTC departs

Recently, Xinjiang's first Central Asia train of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor (ILSTC) departed from Urumqi International Land Port Area. The train was loaded with 2,500 tons of white sugar produced in Vietnam. The 2.3 million U.S. dollars worth of sugar was shipped on a sea-rail intermodal transportation train of the ILSTC to Guangxi, China from the Port of Hai Phong, Vietnam. The goods were gathered in Urumqi Comprehensive Bonded Zone via Chongqing, and loaded at Urumqi Hub Station of China Railway United International Container Co., Ltd. onto the Central Asia train of Urumqi International Land Port Area, which was bound to Almaty, Kazakhstan via Horgos Port, China.
