On July 31, the China Railway Express numbered 75059 with 50 carriages departed safely from Wujiashan Station in Wuhan, fully loaded with glass tempering furnaces, textile products, mechanical equipment, daily necessities, and other goods. It passed through Wuhan-Danjiangkou Railway and Jiaozuo-Liuzhou Railway, left China via Khorgos, passed through Kazakhstan, Georgia, and other countries, and crossed the Caspian Sea and the Black Sea. Through rail-sea intermodal transportation, it finally arrived in Constanta, Romania.
Liu Hongtao who took charge of freight work at Wujiashan Station introduced that this is the 159th China Railway Express departing from the station this year, and also the first Europe-bound train from Wuhan to Romania. In 2021, a total of 159 trains were dispatched from Wujiashan Station, fulfilling the goal of 150 journeys 5 months ahead and making a new record in the recent 10 years.
