Recently, a Chinese consortium and the Nepal Army have signed a commercial contract for the fifth bid section of the Kathmandu-Terai Fast Track (Expressway) Road Project. Listed as one of the "National Honorary Projects" by the Nepalese government, the Kathmandu-Terai Fast Track (Expressway) Road is the first expressway in Nepal. It will facilitate Nepal's social and economic development and prosperity.
