On January 30, the construction of the King Salman International Complex for Maritime Industries and Services, a key port project under Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 contracted by Jiangsu Hanjian Group, a construction enterprise in Yangzhou, started in full swing. Specifically, the first concrete pouring of a multi-purpose administrative building had been completed. Located along the eastern coast of the Arabian Gulf, the port project was foundation-laid and named by King Salman of Saudi Arabia, and is a significant part of the country's national reform plan of Vision 2030. It is owned by International Maritime Industries (IMI), a consortium formed by industry leaders such as Saudi Aramco. After 347 days of construction, the project is to provide engineering and maintenance services to offshore drilling units, merchant ships and offshore engineering service vessels.
