China-Pacific Island Countries Reserve of Emergency Supplies was officially launched in Guangzhou recently. China proposes and establishes the reserve of emergency supplies for the purpose of building a long-term platform to help the Pacific Island Countries enhance the ability to respond to major public health events and natural disasters, better safeguard the life and health of their people, and build a closer China-Pacific Island Countries community with a shared future.

The diplomatic envoys of these Island Countries in China spoke highly of the development of relations with China, and warmly welcomed the launch of the reserve of emergency supplies. They looked forward to strengthening friendly exchanges and practical cooperation with Guangdong Province in all areas, so as to uplift the comprehensive strategic partnership between the Pacific Island Countries and China to a new height.
