Recently, the launching ceremony of the first train of a combined sea-rail transport service to Africa was held in Zhuzhou, Hunan Province. A freight train carrying 1,935 tons of China’s food assistance to Africa left Zhuzhou for the Port of Nansha in Guangzhou. Then the goods on the train were transferred onto a ship to reach Mombasa Port in Kenya.
