Chinese city launches new China Railway Express service

A China Railway Express route has been launched connecting Liuzhou, a city in South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Moscow, the capital of Russia.

This route is the first China Railway Express service connecting Guangxi directly with Europe and will operate once or twice a month, according to the China Railway Nanning Group.

Data released by the National Development and Reform Commission shows that the total number of China Railway Express trips has so far reached 40,000, and 3.6 million twenty-foot equivalent unit containers of goods has been transported.
