Department of Foreign Capital and Overseas Investment Held a Video Conference with Ugandan Ambassador to China on Production Capacity Cooperation

On June 4, Deputy Director General of the Department of Foreign Capital and Overseas Investment of the National Development and Reform Commission held a video conference with Dr. Chrispus Kiyonga, Ugandan ambassador to China. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on the implementation of the Framework Agreement for Development Cooperation on Production Capacity and the promotion of practical cooperation between China and Uganda.
In June 2019, witnessed by President Xi Jinping and Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ugandan Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development signed the Framework Agreement for Development Cooperation on Production Capacity, focusing on promoting cooperation between the two countries in infrastructure, metallurgical and building materials, resource processing, equipment manufacturing, light industry and  electronics, industry clusters.
