Africa Center for Disease Control and Prevention Headquarters (Phase I) completed

On January 11, 2023, the first phase of the Africa Center for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) Headquarters, a China-aided project for the African Union, was completed and a ceremony that marked the completion was held. With a construction area of more than 20,000 square meters, the headquarters will provide modern office and experimental facilities, which is of great significance for improving the ability of disease prevention, surveillance, and emergency response to epidemics in Africa.
