Invested and built by a Chinese enterprise, the Senj Wind Farm Project in Croatia was officially put into operation in December 2021. Since then, by persisting in localized management, it has produced clean energy and created a considerable number of job opportunities, bringing tangible benefits to local residents. By the end of August 2023, the project had sold 676GWh of electricity to the grid and gained a revenue of 132 million euros. Each year its green electricity can meet the demand of at least 100,000 households, thus playing an important role in expanding the generation of renewable energy, reducing the import of electricity and advancing the low-carbon development of the country.
