The Chinese-built Siem Reap water supply expansion project in Cambodia has recently been officially completed and launched. Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense General Tea Banh attended the ceremony. Tea Banh stated that the completion of the project would provide reliable, safe, and high-quality drinking water for residents, improve sanitary conditions, promote economic development, and contribute to the sustainable development of the local community. It is reported that after the project's launch, the daily water supply capacity of Siem Reap will increase by 60,000 cubic meters, greatly relieving local water supply pressure.
