Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Uganda released the Chinese Enterprises Social Responsibility Report 2022

On December 20, 2022, the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Uganda released the Chinese Enterprises Social Responsibility Report 2022 in Kampala, the capital of Uganda. The document unveiled some Chinese enterprises' practices to fulfill their social responsibility in healthcare, education and sports, services for people's livelihood, job creation, and environmental protection in Uganda.

Vice President Jessica Alupo expressed her gratitude in her speech to Chinese enterprises for continuously helping Uganda's economic and social development and improving the employment and living standards of local people. She said China played a critical role in the country's transportation and energy infrastructure construction. Ambassador Zhang Lizhong said that China is willing to take the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries as an opportunity, to further deepen the two's friendship and partnership. Meanwhile, China will work with Uganda to put into practice the fruits of the 8th Ministerial Conference of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation and continue to benefit the people of the two countries.
