At the beginning of the new year, the port is getting increasingly busy. Large ships loaded with tapioca starch, soda ash, and other products are operated at the port and sailed to Vietnam immediately after the loading and unloading of goods, which is a snapshot of the busy operation in Qinzhou port area of Beibu Gulf Port in Guangxi recently. Since the end of 2022, the Qinzhou Port, Fangcheng Port, Beihai Tieshan Port, and other ports in the Beibu Gulf Port have seen a peak in production and a significant increase in the number of ships in port. As an important window of the opening-up in southwest China, Beibu Gulf Port has achieved full coverage of major ASEAN ports. With the in-depth implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and the high-quality construction of the New International Land-sea Trade Corridor, Beibu Gulf Port has become an important platform for cross-border logistics and trade between the western region and ASEAN countries, playing an active role in the stability of the regional industrial and supply chains.
