On September 22, Olympic Bridge, the largest flyover in Mongolia and built by a Chinese enterprise, was completed, and the footbridge was officially opened to the residents of Ulaanbaatar.
Olympic Bridge stands in the heart of the Mongolian capital Ulaanbaatar, stretching 1,167 meters. With a total investment of 42.38 million U.S. dollars, it was built by a Chinese enterprise under the EPC model. The flyover is composed of a two-way four-lane main bridge, ramp bridges, subgrades of ramps, and a footbridge.
Ulaanbaatar is populated by nearly 1.5 million residents and has about 400,000 motor vehicles. In response to that, Olympic Bridge plays a vital part in catalyzing the modernization of road traffic in the capital.
