In the first half of 2022, Gansu, one of the main producing areas of traditional Chinese medicinal materials in China, exported 491.6 tonnes of such materials valued at 21.239 million yuan, up 45.9% and 57.8% year-on-year respectively. Over the past few years, Gansu has contributed a lot to the building of the "Health Silk Road" by expanding the export of traditional Chinese medicinal materials and introducing the traditional Chinese medicine industry and culture to the world.
