Up to date, Nepal's Upper Marsyangdi A Hydropower Station, undertaken by a Chinese company, has generated over 100 million kWh of electricity, achieving about 30 percent of its annual power generation target. Since its official commercial operation in 2017, the project has generated more than 1.77 billion kWh of electricity in total, injecting strong impetus into Nepal's social and economic development.
