Recently, the Department of Justice and relevant departments of East China’s Jiangsu Province have jointly promoted standardized and substantive construction of overseas legal service centers.
In recent years, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Justice has brought together the Provincial Department of Commerce, the Foreign Affairs Office, and Jiangsu Federation of Industry & Commerce in promoting the construction of overseas legal service centers with Jiangsu characteristics, taking the first step in building those centers. Jiangsu has been promoting the establishment of 16 overseas legal service centers in 15 countries, including Cambodia, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Brazil, Ethiopia, Indonesia, etc., and has built a network of overseas legal service centers covering major areas along the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) routes.
