| Office of the National Energy Leading Group |
| The Office of the National Energy Leading Group is responsible for undertaking the day-to-day work of the Leading Group and supervising the implementation of decisions made by the Leading Group; monitoring the status of energy security, conducting forecasting and early warning on macro and major energy issues, and proposing countermeasures to the Leading Group; organizing relevant departments to study energy strategies and plans; studying major policies related to energy development and conservation, energy security and emergency preparedness, and international energy cooperation; undertaking other tasks assigned by the State Council and the Leading Group. |
