The Department of Social Development is responsible for putting forward strategies for social development and formulating and coordinating development plans and annual plans of social development; coordinating development policies concerning population, culture, education, public health, sports, broadcasting, television and film, tourism, law enforcement, civil affairs; and coordinating the addressing of problems of social development and social reform.
