The Department of Trade is responsible for monitoring and analyzing both domestic and international markets and maintaining the aggregate balance of important commodities; formulating plans for the total volume of import and export of important agricultural products, industrial products and raw materials, supervising the implementation of these plans and adjusting them in accordance with the performance of the national economy; managing the state reserve of important materials and commodities and providing guidance and supervision to the order-placing, reserves, rotation and marketing of major commodities by the state; putting forward strategies and plans for the development of modern logistics; and coordinating the addressing of major issues of distribution system reform. |
