The Department of Price is responsible for forecasting price changes, recommending objectives, policies and reform plans for price adjustment; setting prices of important commodities, formulating fee-charging policies and organizing related implementation; putting forward the scope, principles and measures of price management; setting and adjusting prices and fees administered by the central government; and organizing cost investigation concerning major agricultural products.
